[sdiy] DSP reverb ideas?

Of course it's no easy task, I'm doing research in reverberation here at
the university, and I'm having a no easy time.. 

But it's true, for the price you're paying, you get a lot of stuff if I
think about it now. It would indeed take ages to implement all the
reverb stuff yourself.

I have been using both the 3201 and the 3101 for a while,
the single chip reverb are nice somewaht limited internal
ram but quite adequate for many high end reverb algos.

Besides the reverb IC have a remakable simple instruction
set wich you dont get with a MOT or TI DSP. You write 
directly in assembler, a multi tap delay takes just 
some minutes to do. The propulsion people are nice
and easy folks to deal with.

Alesis has free tools for their IC's you can down load
them from their web site. I "could" say that this is the 
closest a diy dude can get decent DIY reverb!

Writing a good sounding reverb algorithm is "NO EASY TASK".
