The Alesis SCR (Single Chip Reverb) is a good
price point when combined with the Alesis 24-bit
converters, but it doesn't sound like the Lexicon
OEM, as has been stated. Check the Ineko FX to
hear the SCR.
It can also do up to 750ms of delay (mono), but
the delay times are not continuously variable;
rather, they're selected along a set of taps,
IIRC. This eliminates the zipper noise of previous
Alesis delay engines but also limits the available
delay settings, and will seemingly not allow a
sound to be swept about in pitch as delay time
is changed.
Easier,
