I'm only testy when I'm testing.  It's just that I know a number of the very
talented people that I profit from intellectually on this list are between jobs
and aren't in much of a position to pay a mark-up, especially if it's not
necessary.  Granted, your price is still much better than the 'non-surplus'
VTL5C2's at Allied Electronics, but why pay nearly double BGMicro's price?

On topic:  I've got the beginnings of a nice little phase shifter using VTL5C2's.
 Due to the response of this particular Vactrol, I'm thinking of giving it a cute
name, like "The Lazy Phaser" or something along those lines.  When it's done, it
might make a good companion to Charlie Lamm's Vactrol Filter.
