Yo,

Nope, nothing wrong. Although the output transformer
will not be that much smaller, and the power
transformer amy not be smaller depending on what is
available. If you want to make a really small amp,
make yourself a switching power supply. This has been
one of my dreams for a while now.

Hammond makes push-pull transformers in the 10W range.
they are even ultra-linear style with screen taps. As
for tubes, you're probably stuck with 6L6, 6V6 or
EL34s. 

Face it, tube amps are big.
