This will especially come in handy if the seller doesn't switch my bad unit
for a good one, like he has promised to do. I think I'll wait for a while
before I open this unit. If he trades with me, I don't want to be accused
of breaking this one and unfairly demanding a replacement. (There's also no
way to discretely open the unit and look inside, because one of the screws
is stripped so badly that I would probably have to drill it and then a
screw extractor to remove it. The bottom panel also has a calibration
sticker located in a strategic location, to prevent any casual tampering.)
So, I'll wait for a while and see if he will honor his word and replace the
unit for me.
In the mean time, I'll be looking through that service manual anyway.
