Exactly. 

I've been to that kind of gigs. I'm just not into girls with baggy
pants, 60ies sunglasses, AA cup size, and red Adidas jackets... jumping
around, making minimal hand movements, stoned, and trying very hard to
be different than everybody else.

go to more 'industrial' gigs - heaps of em!  especially if you're in the
band.

i think i know what you mean eh - if only the 'built it myself' was more
impressive than the 'in the band' bit  ;)
