My favorite modulation source for an MPWA is a 4-phase oscillator -
simply a VC quadrature oscillator with the 0 and 90 degree outputs fed
to op amp inverters to generate the 180 and 270 degree phases. An
LM13600 is used to provide VC level on the 0 and 90 outputs, which also
sets the level for the subsequent 180 and 270 degree outputs. This feeds
a 4-section MPWA circuit. The sound has a resemblance to a Solina
chorus, but sufficiently different to make it quite worthwhile on it's
wn. The MPWA was based on info given in a JAES paper by Bernie H.
Perhaps a Lorentz Attractor circuit would provide interesting results as
a CV source for the MPWA.
Regards, Mike
