My favorite modulation source for an MPWA is a 4-phase oscillator - 
simply a VC quadrature oscillator with the 0 and 90  degree outputs fed 
to op amp inverters to generate the 180 and 270 degree phases. An 
LM13600 is used to provide VC level on the 0 and 90 outputs, which also 
sets the level for the subsequent 180 and 270 degree outputs. This feeds 
 a 4-section MPWA circuit.  The sound has a resemblance to a Solina 
chorus, but sufficiently different to make it quite worthwhile on it's 
wn.  The MPWA was based on info given in a JAES  paper by Bernie H. 
Perhaps a Lorentz Attractor circuit would provide interesting results as 
a CV source for the MPWA.
