viewing waveforms (Re: [sdiy] Voyager waveform animation)

Good suggestion, some more ideas...
The VST scope plugin (one of the first plugs available) could also be a
option.
But IMO a spectral view would be as interesting as googling the waveform.
Maybe there is a VST spectrum analyzer plugin too?
Or maybe have Winscope look at the audio output, it has a spectrum analyzer
mode included.
Some virtual audio input would be needed Winscope itself can't do.
