A neat trick I learned from my Ladyfriend: get rid of the kitchen table and eat in bed! Despite what our mothers told us, it will not generate cockroaches or bedbugs by spontaneous generation. :-)

Some years ago, I took an HC11 and made a 'Fazz box'. Using an interrupt, the input was timed, and using other on chip timers, it tried to generate octaves up and down.

There was the usual zero crossing/fundamental determination problem with the analog input, but the results were interesting for such a simple doohickey.

If anybody is interested, I can try to find the code and schematic.

Best wishes. kwd...
