[sdiy] CLM600(0) out of production: mega-purchase anyone?

Hi All,

If you didn't know the Clairex CLM 600/6000 optoisolator famous (or 
infamous) for use in Anderton's EPFM just went out of production. I find 
these handy for other things as well. This seems like a last time to find 
these easily and at a decent price, and I propose 2 options to anyone 
interested in stocking up on them.

There is a chance to buy out remaining stock from Clairex at a fraction of 
list price at $0.35 each! The caveat is the minimum order is $500 which 
would be ~1500 of them--too much for one DIYer, but doable if many of you 
want to split up the purchase and keep a bag on hand for the future.

I found a distributor has about 90 in stock. If I can get a good "blowout" 
price on these (<$2 each), anyone interested in splitting up a bulk 
purchase, either from Clairex or the distributor?
