Well, I live fairly near the original sightings of Moth Man.  :)

(In America, a "sighting" most often refers to a living being, not a
mineral. Here, "sighting" implies a glimpse of something that is not
stationary, but free to move around, often showing up only rarely or
unpredictably. With this in mind, your "sighting" of Gadolinite sounds
almost like a sighting of some mythical or legendary creature.)

Ok, I'll admit that I had to look up the meaning of Gadolinite.  :)
