Thanks for the curves.  Looks interesting.  From a first glance, the
notch step increment seems to follow a "m/n + 1" law:

	95 / 5 + 1 = 20
	96 / 4 + 1 = 25
	97 / 3 + 1 ~= 33
	98 / 2 + 1 = 50

which if you follow all the way to triangle:

	50 / 50 + 1 = 2

i.e. a notch every other harmonic.

Interesting indeed.
