Yes indeed, but (a) they're more expensive, and (b) they are physically
larger.

For example, for a 1n0 capacitor, RS charge £1.04 for polystyrene, and
£1.81 for silvered mica.

Not a problem (just different), but in this case its more a matter of
price, and size if you have already made the PCB for the smaller footprint
of a polystyrene capacitor.
