[sdiy] Vocoder

    I was going to get my new oscilators running today, but, after
reading about vocoders in EN last night, I got a bug up my....@$$...and
just had to get the vododer I built back around 1979-80 working again.
I also decided to modify the filter banks a bit as there were a few good
hints on what they should look like...minor really, but it ended up
taking all day (rather than the 1 hour I figured on).

    Anyway, here is where you can see a pic of the vocoder:

    It sounds a lot better now that I modded the filters.  Mostly, just
increased the Q and also the gain of the filter blocks.  It seems to be
fairly clear...or, at least, I can understand what I am saying (even
without a vocoder, most people don't seem to understand what I say ;^P )
