Quite different. A lot more "dirty". If you're looking for a decent
middle-of-the-road RM, you might be dissapointed by the circuit's
performance. It's more recommended if you already have 3 different
RMs and look for a 4th one to add another flavor ...

I bet it will, but you will certainly make a lot of modifications to get the
right
bias point. Please note that I have chosen the original 2SK30A instead of my
usul BF245's here. It's tricky enough to adjust the circuit with the
original FET.

The TL082 should be capable to perform a similar opamp function.
It may even sound quite similar. But why substitute one easily available
old opamp with another, different, equally available old opamp?
