I do mean note delays, try it...
Go for the extreme, run 5 synths, in->thru->in-thru, etc
Crank the tempo upto 160BPM (or more)..
No play a 1/16th note sequence on the first and the same on the last...
You can hear a delay, especially of somewhere along the line there is an
older synth, using an older optoisolator.
