[sdiy] Wiring pcb pots

A picture of the pots can be found at www.ozemail.com.au/~boobies/datasheets/resistors.pdf and are the green 9mm pots.
This URL gives me an error message, something like "Permissions set wrong".
But, i think that these are just usual pins that normally would be soldered thru-hole in a PCB.
I use some Alps pots with similar pins. When i have to connect several pins together, i take
a length of wire and strip approx. 5...10 mm of wire in the MIDDLE of it, then bend it UZ-shaped.
So i can solder this "U" to the pins. I have to make the entire cable before i begin soldering, but there
is no hassle with two leads separating from one pin while soldering.
