[sdiy] Keyboard (i.e., just switches) for DIY Synth

Hi,

    I'm building a 1-octave polyphonic synth as a school project. I'm stuck
with using pushbuttons now, and was wondering if there was any place I could
get a plain "keyboard" (i.e., the keys are single-pole, single/double-throw
switches with two terminals). I've tried looking around, but short of
ripping up an old synth for its keyboard, I can't seem to come up with
anything.
