Diode log circuits...well, they kinda work, but...if you have the
Analog Devices Non-Linear Application book, they have practical examples
of log and anti-log circuits....Seems like I recall something in the art
of electronics book...but, the diode log circuit seems to be more useful
for demonstrating the principles, rather than actually implementing log
circuits...but you are right, you just swap the resistor and diode and
you would have an anti log circuit.
