[sdiy] CD audio editing tools ???

The disc image file is just that.  You need to extract individual CD tracks
to .wav, .aif, or .sd2 files to manipulate them.  Lots of freeware to
extract - just search for "audio extraction".  For mac try "cdtoaiff".
