Yes, it can..
each time you go through a MIDI Thru port you add a slight delay
(logic/transistor transistion times).
If you have a long chain, then the delay can be really quite noticeable..
I wonder if you could make a Midi digital delay like this (OK, I AM
KIDDING!!!!)
