[sdiy] Another tempco source

Hi All --

RCD Components (in -- guess where -- Manchester, NH) has a variety of
tempco resistor types available. It looks like their LP series of metal
film tempcos may be more cost effective for synth applications than the
usual wire-wound units (which go to higher temperatures than we need).

They offer both 3300ppm and 3600ppm tempcos, with +/- 5% tempco
tolerance. So you could get the 3300ppm's and call it close enough, or you
could buy the 3600ppm's and trim them down a bit to get a perfect
3350ppm. The 5% tolerance guarantees that you will be able to do this,
whereas the more common 3500ppm at 10% tolerance can turn out too low.

I have an RFQ in for a dozen units and will report back on the price.

   Ian
