And mine is noticeably noisier than my Mackie.  But it only cost $80 and
if it craps out I can mine it for parts, although some of the Alps pots
are scratchy right out of the box.

By the way, thanks to the folks here for sussing out the gain circuit
I now have independent control of main and headphone volume on my
MX802A and life is good.
