I am sure RF shielding was not a big concern for Bob Moog or Harald Bode
back in the 1960's. This is the equipment in particular Wendy was talking
about. I'm sure they were more concerned with shipping equipment and keeping
their tiny companies alive.

Even today, equipment is shielded for keeping RF from coming OUT. It's also
shielded to keep ESD from coming in, but I don't think it's tested for RF
induced hiss.

I also wouldn't assume low RF emissions means good resistance to incoming
RF. Electronics sometime behaves in non-intuative ways.
