Physics is with us here. Magnetic field strength
declines with an inverse-cubed response, so unless you
are within feet of the offending gear, you're okay.
Also if you're getting magnetic RFI, the culprit is
probably the cables, which can be equipped with
clamp-on ferrites (not clamp-on ferrets) ;-)
