Jim,

You Synth DIY Event of last Saturday was really wonderful.

I guess i shouldn't be surprised at how refreshing it is to meet such a
varied group of interesting and wonderful folk (and their instruments) but i
was.

Seeing and playing instruments that i knew only as 2D web page
representations was really a lot of fun.  Seeing and speaking with
individuals who i knew only from email was also very interesting but also
thought provoking due to the wide arena of ideas a group such as this
"exudes".

Your provisioning of door prizes was a great touch and underpinned the
effort it took to arrange an event like this.
