Hi Laurie, looks like you've taken on an important responsibility!

I've been meaning to buy an ASM-1 for a quite a while, but the lack
of time has always got the better of me. I'm interested in all the features
you are offering, however I would like to sugest keeping the power supply
off the asm-1 pcb as well as the midi-cv. It might be worth someone designing
a dedicated midi/cv unit that could control multiple ASM-1's multitrimbrally
and polyphonically. That was the idea I've always had anyway, to run 4
asm-1's for a semi poly modular :)

Keep up the good work!

  Hi,

I am the official supplier of the ASM-1 pcb and it has come time to get a new batch of boards in. I wish to get feedback from you users on a few points:-
  1) would you like the board to stay exactly as is including a few minor component omissions etc, or
  2) would you like to see the board enhanced as follows:-
a.. track sizes all increased - signal tracks taken from 12mil to 15mil
b.. missing components added onboard (diode on gate for ADSR, output resistor on ADSR and VCF, 10R resistor on ADSR ATTACK pot)
c.. ground plane on both top and bottom layers
    d.. increased spacing on transistors
e.. improved component layout to handle wider range of component sizes
f.. option for both axial and SMD Tempco in VCO and VCF
g.. minor improvement to ADSR - replace GATE threshold pot with resistive divider
h.. inclusion of jumper option for Linear and/or Logarithmic GLIDE
i.. trimpot on VCO to improve easy of setting-up
j.. board terminals on a 3.5mm pitch to allow for insertion of terminal block
  3) or, option (2) above plus the following modules:-
    a.. Ring Modulator,
    b.. MIDI-CV
c.. Power Supply (723 based design with small onboard heatsink option [mount transistors off-board for larger heatsinking]
    d.. Triangle output on VCO

  Best Regards
  Laurie Biddulph
