Brett,
The answer is yes, with some cautions. Ideally the
blade should have three teeth on the material, but two
is okay. This means a 24T blade for 1/16" material.
Less than two teeth per and nasty things happen, some
of which are dangerous. Also PCB material is very
abrasive, so your blade will dull rather quickly.
My standard bandsaw lecture:
The bandsaw is the most dangerous machine in the shop
in terms of accident rate. This is the same machine
the butcher uses to cut up sides of meat. So be really
careful. Use a stick or something to push the work
through. Have the guide yoke positioned as close to
the work as possible. Wear eye protection. Fiberglass
dust is VERY nasty. Wear a dust mask.
