Davies recommended MacMaster Carr.
They ignored my question as to why they were so much more expensive even then
going to an injectionmolding shop and having a knob purpose-made.
I'm in fact getting that quoted here in the bay area, Brass insert and all
an exact clone of the 1900-H.  They estimate a $200 setup fee and about 50cents
each, but are waiting to hear back on the Mold quote.  Otherwise there is
Taiwan.

Anyway, I called MacMaster Carr.  Q1-9 $1.48 $10+ $1.31  They offer larger
discounts but not to a lowley person off the street, but she did say they
couldnt even touch Radio Shacks old price, but maybe to the right company
they can come closer. *shrug*

I'm gonna quit beating this particular dead horse.  Next you'll hear from me is
when I get my order of knobs from someone other then Davies!
