If you're serious about this, you'll wind up with quite a selection of tools
& spare parts eventually. I've known techs how have an Anvil wardwobe case
full of goodies, who still didn't have exactly the right tool to fix
whatever happend to break...

Don't forget a flashlight in the kit.
Allen wrenches, if you're working with guitars, and a string winder crank.
Drumkey, if you're working with drums.
Sandbags.
Rope.
Another tube of super glue.
Utility knife.
Masking tape for temporarily labeling things.

I've got a couple of "anything to anything" boxes...they're double gang
electrical boxes with 2 female XLR, 2 male XLR and 3 female 1/4" installed,
all wired in parallel. It'll work as a an adapter or y-cable splitter
between any of the above. Inelegant for level/impedance matching, but very
handy when the ship is going down...add a handful of RCA/1/4" adapters, and
you're doing even better.

Last live gig I troubleshot, the flashlight and a tall ladder were the tools
that saved the day. They were running the mains too loud, and the speakers
(which were flown from the ceiling) were popping their little
self-protection breakers.
