Now this one uses an original photo coupler, doesn't it?
So that's a good starting point to "do it right".

Saw this other page that tries to make a LA2 with a
VTL5C4/2. This uses a LED, so I doubt it can catch
the original. (VTL5C4's make nice compressors, been there
too; just have my doubt about emulating the bahaviour
of an electroluminiscent device.)

Has anybody used one of these Nite Lites (sp?) and
has sucessfully cloned the LA2's behaviour?
