How about a pair of resistors or so?

The only thing you need to do is to toss your input signal onto the gate of one
of the audio-amp tubes. Naturally, since it is an amp, you need to damp your
signal down not to overdrive the amp too seriously.

Exactly where to insert it and how much to damp is a matter of looking in them
schematics, making some rought estimates and then some experiments.

Can you handle some resistors? Is that too much to take? ;O)
