If we do this web based maybe we ought to make it database driven? (MySQL
and PHP maybe) Then authors can concentrate on content and others on
presentation. That way you could have different views on the same
information - beginners view would draw on some information, advanced on
other info. You could generate a completely individual or personalised book
from the information on the database. I'd be willing to help out with some
PHP and MySQL.
