If you have trouble finding the components for the Thomas Henry hihat, why
not clone the TR-808 hats? They're one of my favorite analog hats, and not
overly complicated to redesign. I've been considering a percussion modular
using 909 kick with 808 hats/snare.
I've also modified a Boss DR-110, and the hats are now pure evil (probably
because of the noise source). They could be another good source for cloning.
Just a thought...
