Hi All,

Hey, has anybody looked at or played with the Fairchild MMPQ6700 transistor
array? It is basically two 2N3904s and two 2N3906s in one SO16 package. It
is sold by Jameco as the #214025 for 73 cents each! Here's a link

Since the link wraps, you'll probably just have better luck going to
jameco.com and searching for their number 214025.

The data sheet states that there are four die in the package, so it's not
going to be a perfectly matched complimentary pair (rats!), but I would
think the die would be very close (same production lots?) and they should be
thermally coupled since they're sealed in a common package and sitting on
the same lead frame. According to the spec sheet, the die are "sourced from
Process 23 & 66." I don't know what that means for matching. If nothing
else, might be a nice space efficient way to get 3904s and 3906s on a board.
I'm pretty sure these will wind up in the ASC-1 (ARP Sequencer Clone).

Any thoughts?
