Thanks all for that. I have since discovered that there's enamel
and there's ENAMEL. Some melt really easily. Some don't. How to tell is
anyone's guess but the enamel on the wire I've used does not melt with a
soldering iron. But I've found some other stuff that does. I'll use that in
future of course.
If I could find a nice cheap supply of winding wire that behaves like this
I'd use it instead of kynar wire. This is in fact, the only reason I use
kynar wire. But I fear this low melt stuff may be the exception rather than
the rule.
Anyway. Thanks once again. Most appreciated.
