[sdiy] Percussion synthesis: my project

I have always bee quite intrigued in percussion synthesis. I just designed
my own drum machiine with all analogue drum sounds.

The "brain" is FPGA-based and drives 8 sounds. A 16X8 led matrix displays
patterns and the memory in the FPGA store 4 16-step patterns.

I opted for non-adjustable sounds to fit into a Dr. Rhythm-style form factor
in a sloped-front plastic box. The sounds are a conglomeration of circuits I
found on the net and online manuals from 70's drum machines. I tweaked the
circuits and came up with my "own" sounds. Voila...

Study a bit on the net and you'll find a lot of cool stuff--let me know if
you want any info or links.
