Subject: [sdiy] Sblive AUD_EXT

Hello,

This is may be a little of topic but to extand and speed-up my serial RS232
CV/Gate convertor i would like to use one of the digital outs of the SBLive.

Currently i could simply use the provided spdif outs and with a CS8412
extract the serial datas for the left and right channels to feed my DACs.

But i would like to know what are GPO1 GPO2 and GPO3 respectivly pin
10,11,13
on the AUD_EXT connector of the sblive1024 (CT4830) ?

I suspect they are simple serial outs of the 3 stereos outs (the same as
17,19,22 wich are spdif outs) but i can't find any infos on the net about
it.
People seem more interested by spdif outs :)
Since this card is very common, i dare to ask here, may be someone knows ?
:)

On the other hand i would like to learn about the spdif standard, and the
ADAT standard, how audio signal is encoded. So does someone know some
webpages where i could find any infos about it ? That would be a great help
!

Thanks a lot.
