Yo,

Well, it happened to me. My house got broken into last
week. Along with a pistol and some Altec horns I just
sold on ebay, they got a whole box of checks. This has
caused the loss of much sleep. I have now unwillingly
memorized the phone numbers of every police department
in the county. The cops already caught one guy passing
my checks. With luck, he will turn out to be the
burgler as well.

So my bleary-eyed, nail-bitten advice to you all is:
Get a safe place to put this stuff!!! I'm going to buy
a small safe and bolt it to the floor. I'm also buying
a shredder, and every piece of poersonal
info-containing waste is going through it.

By the by: For reasons unknown, they took my Xilinx
programming pods. They left every other high-tech
thing in the lab. I don't get it. So until I can
replace the cables, I'm out of the Xilinx business.
