[sdiy] Paia Vocoder clarifier mod toggle?

Of course it can be done... build two sets of boards (one with, one without)
and switch the audio outputs with a spdt switch... ;^P

Sorry Stephen, could not resist. ;^)

Making modifications that can be 'reversed' is usually very hard because of
the number of points that have to be changed. Just swapping an opamp probably
means at least a DPDT switch function. You might leave the power supplies
connected to both chips, any maybe the non-inverting inputs are not used (just
tied to ground through a resistor ?) but the other pin functions must be
switched.

They may do awful things when you switch them, like pop, thump, etc...

Multiply this by the sheer number of contacts required and you will need to
use electronic switching, or relays, etc... all of which will add 'mods' of
their
own...

if you contact me offlist with the links for the original / modded version, I'll
give
you a real informed opinion, instead of a shameless, flippant answer like
above..
but the gist of it is... switchable mods might easily exceed the complexity of
the
solution I proposed above... (sad, but true)
