Yuck !!!  ;^P

This reference to the LM324, which I presume is the buffer amp.
Having just tried this amp in this application LAST NIGHT... I was
not happy with the performance.

The bias current flows 'out' of the PNP input transistors... and charges
the
hold cap.  OTOH we have different circuits...and I'm using a much
smaller
cap.  In my case it looks like a sawtooth as the cap charges.
Agreed...with a
.1uF that effect would be much less than I saw. Also depends on the
refresh
rate.

I'd suggest the TL084 as a higher performance pin for pin replacement...

I agree, a multi-channel S/H is not rocket science ;^)
