stripboard is good, but also consider one off PCBs.  they're not really so
expensive ...

PCB-pool charge 24.37 Euro per dm2 (that's 10x10cm area).  30.63 for double
sided.  soldermask is optional 17 Euro.

you just upload the design (they accept a number of different formats), and
10 days later you get a PCB in the post :)

really nice quality - I'd recommend it for more complex circuits, or
circuits where placement and track length/routing is more critical.
