Ouch! I just looked at the prices of digital pots. Oy!


So I think it is time for plan B: We are talking
square waves here, so a simple diode and a
programmable voltage source makes a real cheap VCA. I
can use a single DAC and lots of S/Hs to make the
voltages. Thank Bog for LM324s! Nice and cheap.

Of course, I'll need to invert every single stinkin'
output... Thank Bog for 74HC04s!!
