I second Charlie's recommendation of MySQL. But, I also appreciate
Batz's concerns about setup and resource use. Myself, I don't think
my ISP likes people running servers and such from their homes, but
otherwise I'd run the thing from here. It's actually not *that*
bad to set up a JDBC driver and use Java and JSP's to talk to MySQL
from an HTML page. MySQL loves reading comma delimited files, and
it ran beautifully on my old PIII 450 Wintel box. If someone decides
to go this route, please let me know--I can help out. (Since my
electronic knowledge is SLIM, it'd be the one thing I COULD contribute
to this list!) [BTW, MySQL & the JDBC driver are free]
