Yes you're right. The enclosure, ready with lettering and all the holes,
is an argument to buy one, even if I change half of th electronics
afterwards.

The point is, I *do* play guitar thru these stomp boxes. Only that the
guitar is
a physical model on the VL7 (and I can only dream about playing Fripp-speed
solos on a keyboard). But I really love the interaction of a decaying guitar
tone on all kinds of FX devices. One big difference is that I have the FX
boxes on top of the synth, not on a floor board. So these heavy mechanical
bypass switches need too much force to operate them with the hands.
The same type of switch, with a momentary contact, feels better.
(As I type this, I'm converting uploading a few mp3 files from my new
CD (not available yet). There should be at least one file with a VL-7
thru EMS HiFli clone. I'll come back about this later.)
