         Well I always wondered what an ARP from 1939 would sound like. At 
least now I have some idea. I just never guessed they started out making 
percussion instruments.

Prolly for the fledgling home organ market? Or maybe axes are a long held 
tradition in the Emerson family? What else would you attack a hammond with? 
An ARP axe.
