[sdiy] MIDI hardware (and software)

Terrence,
Might check on driver and software availability for OS-X. I'm a PC person
but most of the people I know with Macs run audio under OS9.X. Some hardware
doesn't have drivers for OS-X and some software doesn't work with it. So
check all that out.
