Subject: [AH] FS: FREE GEAR pickup only
FREE STUFF
i suppose you could give me small cash donations if you wish, but
it is not necessary. PICKUP ONLY in CINCINNATI OHIO, first come first
serve, priority to local people (who would ostensibly have a more flexible
schedule.) i live in the clifton/university heights/corryville area, if
you live in cincinnati you should know where that is.
REASON: i am moving, and must purge all unneccessary equipment.
IF YOU REPLY: please leave [AH] in subject header, so that your
mail does not accidentally get deleted (i get so much spam you wouldn't
believe)
* 4U rack. grey cabinet, 18" depth (approx), fold out handles on
sides, made of SOLID STEEL. i am not lying this probably weighs 30#.
* ENSONIQ MIRAGE carcass. just the keyboard. the metal shell, the
keys, the display screen, the main board less a few parts and less the CEM
chips. no disk drive but AWESOME FOR MAKING SOME KIND OF KEYBOARD
INSTRUMENT.
* ROLAND SH-1 carcass. again just the keyboard, and a few keys are
missing, but if for some reason you have one of these that's half broken,
you can combine it with this one to make VOLTRON!!!! wait, i mean a fully
functional sh-1. i would totally not sell it if i could put the parts
together into a japanese lion fighter but anyway
* X-STAND FOR KEYBOARD. i have two of these, one is sorta-sturdy
and one is sorta-flimsy. it would be awesome actually if i could get $10
for these since they are pretty much new but if you do not want to give up
the money (AND/OR YOU TAKE EVERYTHING ELSE) you can have them.
* RECORDS. 50-ish classical/jazz/spoken
word/bizarre/hawaiian/weird LPs. if you take one YOU MUST TAKE ALL OF
THEM. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. THERE IS A DUMPSTER OUTSIDE, JUST PRETEND YOU
WANT THEM ALL, THEN THROW OUT THE ONES YOU DON'T, AND I WILL IGNORE THE
CLANGING SOUND THAT IT MAKES WHEN YOU THROW 49 RECORDS INTO THE DUMPSTER.
* soft "KACES" case, it was supposed to go with my mackie 1402
mixer (SOLD sorry) but i don't think it fit. i used to use it for my
4-track but then i stopped leaving the house. err i mean i stopped using
my 4-track so much!
* macintosh IIsi. functional. no monitor/keyboard/mouse. formerly
used as MIDI COMPUTER. currently used as decorative bookcase adornment.
future use: DOING SOMETHING THAT IS IN YOUR HOUSE, BECAUSE YOU WILL TAKE
IT HOME WITH YOU. IT LIKES YOU. SEE HOW IT IS LOOKING AT YOU? WITH THOSE
SAD EYES? YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN NOW. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DO TO THEM IF
NOBODY ADOPTS THEM, DON'T YOU??
this is provided as a service to LOCAL PEOPLE with MORE TIME/ROOM
than i have. it may take me 2-3 days to respond to your email due to time
constraints, so do not panic, you are still my friend if you come and take
these things.
moving out,
andy
