Hi!
At a local electronic's store selling off some of their parts inventory, I
recently scooped up a large bag of nifty two-part LED panel mounting bezels,
and after playing around with them I find that they're really wonderful.
They require a 5/16" panel hole, and work with LEDs with the little ridge on
the plastic. (The smooth LEDs without the ridge will just slide right out
onto the floor however, "Ruffles have ridges!" LOL!)
No more headaches searching through catalogs only to find that your LEDs are
out of stock for 12 weeks, or driving all over town hoping to find that
certain mounting size in the colors and voltages you require!
Nope, instead you can buy standard size raw LEDs almost anywhere, and after
inserting them into a little white plastic or ceramic retainer, they screw
right into the back of these metal panel bezels, Ta Da! Done!
They're absoultely fantastic, only problem is...
now I can't find more of ~these~ puppies!
Anybody know who makes them or where to buy them?
