Good luck, stay positive but get ready for the long haul!

I was going to take 4 months off starting June 2001. Then 911 happened. Now
17 months latter I'm still looking. Things were starting to pick until GW
got his war package passed. Now everyone is waiting to see if we go to war
or not. I went to a Visual Studio .NET (new MS SW development environment)
SIG group meeting the other night. There were about 25 people there. 2 or 3
of them had jobs and the rest were there to network to find work. Hopefully
SW/HW R&D will pick up after the first of the year. That's what people in
companies are saying at least. So next week I start painting houses. So much
for a collage degree and 26 years experience.

So it ends up being the typical problem. Not enough time but the money to
build synths or no money and the time. I have got a lot of work done on
paper, about a notebook full.
